Albion's form pleases McGhee

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Mark McGhee was delighted to see his side's improved form continue with a 2-0 home win against Wrexham on Saturday.

A goal apiece for John Piercy and Richard Carpenter was enough to see off the Red Dragons and move the Seagulls up to third place in the Division Two table.

"I am pleased that we continued the form we showed in our previous match at Notts County," said McGhee.

"We deserved the points. Wrexham had quite a lot of possession, but they didn't really trouble us."
