Brighton have signed Bradford City's Australian winger Paul Reid on a free transfer for the rest of the season.
Reid has impressed while playing the last two games for Brighton's reserves and Mark McGhee has decided to hand the player a chance.
The 24-year-old has immediately set his sights on doing enough between now and the end of the season to earn a long-term contract.
"My main plan is to play as many games as I can, try to impress at training and hopefully secure a contract for next season," Reid revealed.
Reid will go straight into the squad that takes on Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
