Whing: Seagulls still in the hunt

The Seagulls are six points from safety following Saturday's goalless draw with Tranmere, and Whing admits they need four or five wins from their last eight games to beat the drop. He said: "In our predicament we definitely needed three points and, as the gap is still the same, it is going to be difficult for us. "But this performance can help us. We will take heart from the clean sheet and will go to MK Dons next Saturday full of confidence. "We simply didn't get the rub of the green, and now it's looking like we need four or five wins to have any chance of staying in this division."
