Top spot brings pressure - Poyet

Brighton manager Gus Poyet admits his table-topping side are now there to be shot at.

The Seagulls have won their last three matches to soar to the summit of npower League One and lie three points clear of second-placed Bournemouth.

They face a trip to Tranmere on Saturday with Poyet wary they have suddenly become the team to beat.

"It's going to get more difficult every game because teams are going to come to us with the aim of knocking us off our perch," said the Uruguayan.

"It's a new kind of pressure for the team to deal with."
