Thornhill worry for Seagulls opener

On-loan Nottingham Forest midfielder Thornhill has been struggling with a thigh problem, but returned to training on Thursday and is hopeful of making his debut for the Seagulls. Veteran striker Nicky Forster is an injury concern as he is struggling with a knee problem, while Slade will also assess the fitness of Glenn Murray (groin), Craig Davies (knee) and Kevin McLeod. Long-serving striker Gary Hart will definitely not feature as he is nursing a toe injury. Slade has been busy in the transfer market and the likes of Gary Dicker, James Tunnicliffe, Mark Wright, Andrew Crofts, Liam Dickinson and Alan Navarro are all vying for a starting berth after arriving at the Withdean over the summer.
