Stadium go-ahead delights Albion
The application included a complete redesign of the stadium interior and changes to the roof.[LNB]Ten of the 12 members of the committee voted in favour, with two abstentions, and the ruling has allowed construction of the stadium to get underway.[LNB]Delighted Seagulls chief excutive Martin Perry told the club's official website: "This is another massive step forward for the club, and we are delighted the council has supported the application.[LNB]"We have enjoyed strong support from Brighton & Hove City Council throughout, and this means we can move forward with the main construction in April.
