Slade waiting on Owusu decision
Owusu, who played a major role in the Seagulls' League One survival last season after joining on loan from Cheltenham, has been offered a one-year contract with a further one-year option.
But the 32-year-old recently spent time on trial with Aussie outfit Adelaide United and has stayed on for an extra few days Down Under.
Slade told the Argus: "I don't think the fact he stayed out there for a few days is significant. He's just enjoying a holiday.
"He has stayed out there longer then we thought but I'm confident we'll have a decision from him soon."
