Slade stunned by horrific display

Theo Robinson scored twice to add to goals from Peter Clarke, Antony Kay, Lee Novak, Gary Roberts and Danny Drinkwater as the Seagulls, who had goalkeeper Michel Kuipers sent off, were blown away. Slade said: "It was a horrendous night for me, the team and the club. I can only apologise. This was my worst night in football as a manager. "To lose in the manner we did shows that there is a softer under belly somewhere in the team. But credit to Huddersfield, we would have been up against it even with 11 men, never mind 10, and defending so poorly. "Huddersfield were ruthless. They were clinical in front of goal and showed what it takes to win a title at this level." Liam Dickinson, who scored six goals in 13 appearances on loan for the Terriers last season, scored Brighton's goal.
