Seagulls wait on contract calls
With 10 senior players set to see their contracts expire at the end of the season the club have decided to see whether they will ply their trade in League One or League Two before offering new deals.
Players whose contracts expire in the summer include Andrew Whing, Tommy Fraser, Jake Robinson, Doug Loft and long-serving duo Gary Hart and Kerry Mayo.
Hart told the Brighton Argus: "There is no talk about contracts at the moment - I don't think anyone is expecting there to be. We have got to get ourselves safe first.
"At this stage of my career I have got to get myself right, because there is another season next year.
"I don't know obviously if I will be here or somewhere else and I need to get myself fit for that."
