Seagulls release six
Brighton manager Gus Poyet has released six members of his League One title-winning squad.
Seagulls stalwart Gary Hart, who was famously signed from Stansted in 1998 for £1,000 and a set of tracksuits, heads the list of departures.
Midfielders Radostin Kishishev, Cristian Baz and Agustin Battipiedi along with strikers Chris Holroyd and Fran Sandaza have also been told they will not be offered new contracts.
Alan Navarro is yet to be offered new terms but the midfieder, who has battled back from a cruciate injury, has been told he can join up with the Seagulls for pre-season.
Striker Chris Wood has returned to West Brom at the end of his loan spell.
