Seagulls missing duo

Brighton will be without Gordon Greer and Glenn Murray for their opening match at Swindon. Former Swindon defender Greer, who has been named Seagulls captain, and striker Murray are suspended due to red cards picked up at the end of last season. Young centre-half Lewis Dunk is out with a foot injury so Adam El-Abd and Tommy Elphick will start at the back. Goalkeeper Peter Brezovan is missing with a wrist injury so summer signing Michael Poke gets an early chance to impress. Ashley Barnes, who has joined on a permanent deal after last season's successful loan spell, could start on his own in attack. New signings Matt Sparrow, Radostin Kishishev, Agustin Battipiedi and Cristian Baz should also be involved.
