Seagulls grind out win over Gills
Goals from Elliott Bennett and Tommy Elphick were enough to give the home side all three points.[LNB]Bennett broke the deadlock on 25 minutes with his first goal for the club with a superb free-kick from the edge of the box.[LNB]Gillingham goalkeeper Simon Royce kept the visitors in the game with saves from Andrew Crofts and Liam Dickinson[LNB]Brighton made the game safe 12 minutes from time with Elphick heading home Bennett's cross.[LNB]The win was only Brighton's second home victory of the season, while for Gillingham it was their fifth defeat out of their last six away games[LNB][LNB]
