Sandaza future unclear

Brighton striker Fran Sandaza admits his future at the club remains uncertain but that he would love to stay beyond the end of the season. The 26-year-old Spaniard, who joined the Seagulls from Dundee United in September, has scored five times in 12 appearances for Albion, including the final goal in the 4-0 midweek win over Plymouth. Sandaza, whose contract expires at the end of the current campaign, told BBC Sport: "The club have not told me anything, I don't know anything about my future. It's a great city and a great atmosphere around the team. It would be a pleasure to play here next year." He added: "Every player wants to play from the start, but the team is doing very well and every striker is scoring goals."
