Poyet to ring changes in cup

Brighton boss Gus Poyet plans to give his fringe players a run-out in Saturday's FA Cup first-round tie at home to Woking after his table topping side made it four wins in a row with a 3-0 win over Exeter. Two goals from striker Ashley Barnes following an early header by defender Adam El-Abd stretched Brighton's unbeaten league run to 12 games and kept them eight points clear at the top of League One Poyet said: "There will be changes on Saturday. I won't change the whole team, but about half. "We didn't start brilliantly up front but goals give players confidence and, having scored two at Peterborough, Ashley Barnes is certainly growing in confidence with two more in this game." Former Wolves winger Elliott Bennett made the opening goal for El-Abd as well as providing the pass for Barnes to score his second, and Poyet believes his contributions are vital for the team. He enthused: "All credit to Bennett. We need to continue to take advantage of his excellent deliveries."
