Poyet targets back-to-back home wins

Brighton manager Gus Poyet wants his side to build on their successful road trip with back-to-back home wins. The Seagulls are up to second in League One after grabbing a goalless draw from their long trip to Carlisle on Saturday and then securing a 2-0 win along the south coast at Plymouth. They can now cement their promotion credentials when they host Oldham on Saturday before Brentford head to the Withdean next Tuesday. "Going to Carlisle and then Plymouth was hard, but it is sometimes more difficult to play two home games in such a short period of time," said Poyet. "It is hard to win two consecutive games anyway, but that is the difference between a top team and an average team. If we want to be considered a top team then we have got to try to win both these games."
