Poyet hunting LuaLua

Brighton manager Gus Poyet will now turn his attentions to Kazenga LuaLua after the capture of long-time target Gordon Greer. Greer, brought in from Swindon on a three-year deal, played the first half of the Seagulls' 3-1 friendly defeat to Whitehawk. Poyet, meanwhile, admitted afterwards he is still keen on bringing in the Newcastle wideman on loan. He told The Argus: "We are still in the chase for LuaLua because we know how important he was for us and how many people in Brighton like him. "Of course we want a striker and after that it will depend if somebody goes and we need to re-adjust."
