Poyet excited by Pompey clash

Brighton manager Gus Poyet is relishing the chance to test his side against Portsmouth in a blockbusting FA Cup south-coast derby showdown next month. The Seagulls secured their place in the third round after goals from Fran Sandaza, Inigo Calderon, Elliott Bennett and Matthew Sparrow sank FC United 4-0 on Wednesday night. "Now we have a great game at home against Portsmouth to look forward to, it's going to be a totally different type of game," said Poyet. "Their players were in the Premiership last year, they're quick, they're strong and I'm looking forward to that challenge. "It's going to be difficult and we're going to see where we are in terms of quality but it's a good test for us."
