Poyet delight at Navarro return

Brighton boss Gus Poyet was delighted to see long-term injury absentee Alan Navarro make his comeback at the weekend. Midfielder Navarro has been sidelined since suffering a ruptured cruciate ligament in August, but he came on for the final 20 minutes of Saturday's 2-2 draw at Rochdale. The 29-year-old could now play a big part as runaway leaders Brighton bid to get over the line and secure promotion to the Championship. "I have been trying to get Alan in the team but because of the games we have had recently we've not been able to get him on," said Poyet. "We needed a bit of quality on the pitch so it was hard for Navarro to come in. But he got 20 minutes which is good for him because it's important he's back playing in the team."
