The former Celtic centre-half has lost his first-team place under Poyet and, after his substitute appearance in Monday's 5-2 win at Wycombe, he threw his shirt into the visiting supporters.[LNB]But Poyet said: "I thought 'Virgs' did very well when he came on. I always try to convince my subs how important they are for the team because it is often the last 20 minutes when a match is won or lost.[LNB]"I didn't know he had thrown his shirt into the crowd at the end, but I guess it was because we had won the match and he wanted to celebrate with the crowd.[LNB]"When you have a game like that, when the fans are fantastic, they deserve to maybe have a shirt or two to take home."[LNB]Poyet also expects to announce a decision on the futures of Arsenal loanee Gavin Hoyte and goalkeeper Peter Brezovan, who is on a short-term contract, within the next couple of days.[LNB][LNB]
