The work officially started on the new Falmer Community Stadium last month, and McNulty believes it is a positive step forward for the club.[LNB]McNulty, who joined the Seagulls this week on a three-and-a-half year deal from fellow League One side Stockport, told the club's official website: "I've been speaking with the manager and the chairman, and I've heard from lots of people that it's a lovely place down here. The club's going forward with a brand new stadium, and they've sealed a couple of deals this week to bring some big players to the club. The whole place is moving forward.[LNB]"It shows which way the club wants to go, and as a player it's what I want to hear. I want to play Championship football and I think this club is going in that direction.[LNB]"I saw about the stadium on Big League Weekend a couple of weeks ago, and since then I've been on the internet looking at the pictures. Luckily for me my contract takes me into that new stadium and I'm looking forward to the prospect of playing there."[LNB]Meanwhile, new signings Chris Birchall and Craig Davies have been called up for international duty next week with Trinidad & Tobago and Wales respectively, and as a result will miss next Tuesday's re-scheduled game with Peterborough.[LNB][LNB]
