McNulty: Gannon will be fired up

Gannon turned down the opportunity of becoming the Seagulls manager when Micky Adams left the Withdean Stadium hotseat earlier this season and McNulty, who only joined the club in January from County, believes his former boss will be up for the battle. "Knowing him (Gannon) I think he will want to prove his credentials to the club that wanted him," he told the Argus. "I don't know why he didn't take the job. Maybe he has hard feelings and didn't get offered what he wanted. It is just going to add to the cocktail." Brighton must win if they are to be assured of their League One safety, while a draw could enough to keep them up depending on results elsewhere.
