Ledesma tracked by Seagulls

Brighton are considering offering a contract to former QPR midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma. The Argentinian, who was also recently back on trial at Loftus Road, has been training with the Seagulls and scored for the reserves in their 2-1 win over Wycombe on Wednesday night. Ledesma made a big impression when he joined Rangers on loan from Genoa in 2008, hitting a hat-trick on only his fifth appearance against Port Vale in the Carling Cup. However, he failed to find the net in his next 18 appearances and eventually returned to Italy. But the 22-year-old impressed Brighton's reserves coach Luke Williams, who said: "He did very well, worked really hard and it was a great finish for his goal."
