Late test for Sparrow

Matt Sparrow needs a fitness test ahead of Brighton's clash with Hartlepool. The midfielder was a late withdrawal from last week's win at Bristol Rovers after tweaking a knee ligament in training. Striker Glenn Murray twisted his ankle on Tuesday but resumed training on Thursday and has been passed fit. Boss Gus Poyet picked Murray alongside Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes in a bold three-man attack in Bristol and could be tempted to do so again after their 4-2 win. Veteran midfielder Radostin Kishishev could miss out again with a back problem and Alan Navarro (cruciate), Jamie Smith (foot) and Jim McNulty (ankle) remain long-term absentees. The Seagulls have lost just one of their last eight matches and lie three points clear at the top.
