Brighton have added Yaser Kasim to their development squad on a short-term contract until January. The 19-year-old former Tottenham midfielder was a regular for Spurs' under-18s and also played for the reserves, shortly after Albion chief Gus Poyet left his role as assistant manager to Juande Ramos at White Hart Lane. Kasim has linked up with Albion following a brief spell at Crystal Palace and will go straight into the squad for the reserve team game against Brentford.
