Gatting completes cricket switch
The 21-year-old was released by the Seagulls in October after making 44 appearances in three years and is now following in the footsteps of his uncle, former England cricket captain Mike Gatting.
"This is a great opportunity for me. It was the right time to call it a day with football and concentrate fully on cricket," he said.
"I am looking forward to what promises to be a very exciting season."
