Elphick buoyed by Seagulls' freshness

Brighton defender Tommy Elphick insists last weekend's postponed game at Plymouth will work to his side's advantage against MK Dons on Saturday. The Dons are in form but Elphick says the extra rest and recuperation has left the Seagulls chomping at the bit. He told the club's official website: "Some people prefer to keep playing games and keep the momentum going, but I don't mind the rest after a busy start to the season. "In fact, it's worked well for us because we've had time to regroup and tweak a few things on the training ground. "While a few of the lads had Friday off - mainly those that had played a lot of games recently - training has been good and now we can't wait to get back out there and build on our last league win against Walsall."
