Defiant Adams vows to continue

The Seagulls are languishing in the relegation zone and Adams hinted he was considering his position following Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shoot-out defeat at Luton which denied them a trip to Wembley.[LNB]But he told the Argus: "I am not resigning because I don't feel the need to. I want to take this club forward and I am going to try my hardest to get it right."[LNB]Adams, in his second spell at Brighton having guided them to the League Two title in 2001, is likely to hold talks with chairman Dick Knight ahead of Saturday's trip to Millwall but insists he remains committed to ensuring the club beat the drop.[LNB]"I am as passionate as ever, I want to win. I am gutted the way things have worked out so far. I can only apologise for it and I have got to try and put it right," he added.[LNB][LNB]
