Defender makes survival pledge
The Seagulls are currently seven points from safety with eight games remaining and Whing knows they have a mountain to climb, but insists they are capable of staying up.
"I'm just looking at each game on merit. We need to get three points from the next game, then three from the next game," he said.
"We'll look at it game by game but, being realistic, I think four or five wins are needed to have any chance of staying in the division."
