Brighton hope to include midfielder Radostin Kishishev, who has been struggling with a back problem.
Midfielders Alan Navarro (ruptured cruciate ligament) could start training later this month, but defender Jim McNulty (ankle) is out for the season.
Brighton assistant manager Mauricio Taricco told BBC Sussex: "We want to win the league and go up. If you want to do that you have to be spot on in most games.
"They need to win to survive because at the moment they're in a difficult situation. It will be a difficult game.
"It's up to us to take the disappointment of the other day and make our performance off the ball better. We have a good chance to win the game. We believe in our way of playing so that's the way we'll go forward."
