Upson to battle on

Brighton will patch up Matt Upson for the home clash with rock-bottom Yeovil on Friday night.

Former England defender Upson is playing through the pain of an ankle injury in a bid to help the Seagulls reach the play-offs.

Winger Will Buckley is pushing for a start after returning from a hamstring injury as a half-time substitute in the 1-1 draw with Blackpool on Easter Monday.

Striker Will Hoskins is available after a long-term knee problem but midfielder Andrew Crofts is recovering from a cruciate injury.

Yeovil will be without Kieffer Moore for their final away match before relegation back to League One.

The targetman, who has enjoyed a memorable first season with the Glovers having arrived from Dorchester, suffered a calf injury which has sidelined him since the 1-1 draw with Bournemouth and it looks to have ended his season prematurely.

Kevin Dawson came into the side for Monday's last-gasp 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield and Gary Johnson has to decide whether to recall Liam Davis or stick with the Irish winger against the Seagulls.

Johnson, whose side are destined for the third tier bar a minor miracle, will also be without injured striker Adam Morgan.
