Buckley doubt for Seagulls

Brighton winger Will Buckley is doubtful for the home game with Wigan due to his troublesome hamstring.

Buckley made his first start of the year in Monday night's draw with Hull in the FA Cup, but was withdrawn at half-time and replaced by teenager Solly March.

Striker Leonardo Ulloa is expected to shake off the calf injury that forced him off in the second half, while midfielder Keith Andrews (hamstring) had no reaction after returning to the starting line-up against the Tigers.

Striker Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) is edging closer to a return to action after a run-out with the reserves, but Andrew Crofts and Will Hoskins (both knee) are out for the rest of the season.

Wigan will be without Ben Watson for the trip.

The central midfielder suffered a double fracture in his right leg in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Barnsley, which was Latics' third straight victory, and he will now miss the remainder of the season.

Watson joins Gary Caldwell (Achilles) and Shaun Maloney (hip) on the sidelines while Nick Powell's hamstring injury could see the club's top-scorer miss out once more.

Boss Uwe Rosler has confirmed that winger Callum McManaman (ankle) will definitely return, though, while defenders Markus Holgersson (virus), Ivan Ramis (knee) and Thomas Rogne (soft-tissue injury) could all come back into the contention.
