David Stockdale hopes to make Brighton's clash with Fulham

Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale could still be fit for Tuesday's Sky Bet Championship match at home to Rotherham.

Stockdale was forced off with a shin injury during the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Friday but the problem is not bad as first feared.

Back-up keeper Niki Maenpaa is set to step in if Stockdale does not recover in time.

Defender Connor Goldson is unavailable as he is still recovering from medial knee ligament damage and Uwe Hunemeier is out with a groin injury.

Rotherham are hoping to have Kirk Broadfoot fit again.

The centre-half missed Saturday's chastening defeat at Aston Villa with a hamstring injury and will face a late test on the south coast.

Darnell Fisher will be eyeing a full debut at right-back while fellow new boy Izzy Brown - a season-long loanee from Chelsea - will also hope to be involved.

Aimen Belaid and Joe Newell have returned to full training following summer operations but will not feature.

Chelsea forward Izzy Brown has signed on loan and could be involved.
