Seagulls to shuffle squad

Brighton boss Oscar Garcia is expected to shuffle his squad for the meeting with Newport.

The Seagulls were beaten 2-1 at Leeds on the opening day but Garcia will rest a number of his senior players when they face the Exiles.

CasperAnkergren should get the nod in goal while Adam El-Abd is likely to return to the defence.

Summer signing Kemy Agustien is expected to make his full competitive debut in midfield alongside KazengaLuaLua.

Newport's latest signing Ryan Jackson is pushing for a start as the Football League's newest side look to cap a memorable week with a shock giant killing in their first League Cup tie for a quarter of a century.

Justin Edinburgh's men marked their return after 25 years in exile with a 4-1 victory over Accrington and Jackson, signed on the eve of the match from Macclesfield, was an unused substitute.

And while Mike Flynn's injury looks set to rule him out once more at the home of last season's Championship losing play-off semi-finalists while Jackson will be involved again along with Robbie Willmott who shrugged off his problem to play the final 20 minutes.

Young goalkeeper Jamie Stephens, snapped up from Liverpool earlier this summer, looks set to start in goal again.
