Seagulls waiting on Barnes

Brighton will give Ashley Barnes a late fitness check ahead of the visit of Millwall.

The striker is still struggling with the hip injury which forced him to miss last weekend's 2-0 win over Burnley.

With Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) and Will Hoskins (knee) still on the sidelines, Leonardo Ulloa could again be Brighton's only fit senior forward.

Defender Bruno (hamstring) is set to miss out again along with Andrea Orlandi (knee) and Liam Bridcutt (hernia) but fellow midfielder Keith Andrews could return to the squad after a hamstring niggle as the Seagulls go in search of a third straight victory.

James Henry could return to Millwall's starting XI.

Winger Henry was an unused sub having recovered from an illness as the Lions bowed out of the Capital One Cup 2-1 at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

Steve Morison is out following a hernia op and fellow strikers Jermaine Easter (hamstring) and Dany N'Guessan (knee) are injury doubts but midfielder Liam Trotter and goalkeeper David Forde (both knee) are close to returning.

Defenders Danny Shittu and Shane Lowry and midfielders Richard Chaplow and Shaun Derry could be recalled after dropping out in midweek.
