Bridge over troubled ankle?

Brighton will check on Wayne Bridge ahead of the visit of play-off rivals Leicester.

The former England left-back has been struggling with a bruised ankle but the Seagulls are confident he will be fit.

Right-back Bruno is still out, however, as he has yet to recover from a calf injury so fellow Spaniard Inigo Calderon keeps his place.

Boss Gus Poyet remains light in attack with Argentinian Leonardo Ulloa his only senior striker.

Ashley Barnes is still serving his lengthy suspension for tripping a referee at Bolton last month, Craig Mackail-Smith's season is over due to an Achilles problem and Will Hoskins has a knee injury.

Andrea Orlandi could return in midfield after dropping out in the 0-0 draw against Charlton on Tuesday.

Captain Wes Morgan will return to the Leicester starting line-up.

Morgan missed the 2-0 defeat to Barnsley on Monday through suspension following his red card in the home loss to Millwall three days previously.

Zak Whitbread replaced Morgan at centre-half at Oakwell for his first start since Boxing Day and he is likely to drop back out to accommodate the skipper's return.

Midfielder Danny Drinkwater will also come back into the reckoning after illness to give Foxes boss Nigel Pearson a full-strength squad to choose from for a vital clash on the south coast.

Three defeats on the spin have seen Leicester drop out of the play-off places and they go into Saturday's game against Brighton, who occupy the final play-off spot, two points behind Albion.
