Halford motoring for Brighton

Greg Halford could return to the Brighton squad for the visit of Leeds.

The on-loan Nottingham Forest defender missed Saturday's 4-3 win over Birmingham after failing to shake off a knock to his knee.

But winger Solly March faces a few weeks out with a leg injury and midfield duo Kemy Agustien (thigh) and Andrew Crofts (knee) are still on the sidelines.

Emmanuel Ledesma will be hoping to make his debut having been an unused substitute on Saturday following his loan switch from Middlesbrough.

Leeds defender Liam Cooper will return to the starting line-up as skipper in place of the suspended Giuseppe Bellusci.

Bellusci begins a two-game ban after picking up his 10th booking of the season in Saturday's win at Middlesbrough, while Cooper returned to the bench following a hip problem and replaced the Italian late on.

Head coach Neil Redfearn has confirmed Cooper will take the captain's armband back off fellow central defender Sol Bamba as Leeds chase a fourth straight win.

Redfearn has no major new injury concerns but "one or two niggles". Midfielder Tomasso Bianchi (knee) remains sidelined, while recent signing Granddi Ngoyi (thigh) is close to a return to full training.
