Seagulls duo could return

Will Buckley and Jake Forster-Caskey could return to the Brighton squad for the visit of Leeds.

Winger Buckley has not played since the turn of the year due to a hamstring injury while a similar problem kept midfielder Forster-Caskey out against Doncaster on Saturday, but both are back in contention.

However, Keith Andrews is set to miss out again with his hamstring complaint while fellow midfielder Andrew Crofts (knee) and strikers Will Hoskin (knee) and Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) remain sidelined.

Mackail-Smith was due to play for the under-21s on Monday as he builds up his fitness after 11 months out, but he has been withdrawn from the match at Bournemouth as it will be played on an artificial surface due to the weather.

Leeds striker Noel Hunt could make his first league appearance since early October.

The former Reading marksman was named on the bench in United's last two matches following his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury and he is in contention to play some part should boss Brian McDermott opt to make any changes.

McDermott has no fresh injury or suspension concerns and could choose to stick with the same side that recorded a 2-1 victory over Yeovil on Saturday.

Forward Luke Varney and midfielder Paul Green have been loaned out to Blackburn and Ipswich respectively.
