Buckley blow for Brighton

Brighton will be without Will Buckley when they host Bournemouth.

The winger is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury during Sunday's 1-0 win at Blackpool - the first win in three attempts for Oscar Garcia's men.

Stephen Ward will be assessed after he was forced off at Bloomfield Road following a whack to the head, which saw Adam Chicksen come on for his debut as at left-back.

Skipper Gordon Greer (calf) and fellow defender Bruno (thigh) were missing against the Seasiders and remain doubtful as Brighton seek to move into the play-off places.

Bournemouth will be boosted by the return of midfielder Harry Arter.

Arter served his one-match ban for his fifth yellow card of the season against Ipswich on Sunday and he looks set to regain his place in Eddie Howe's starting line-up.

Josh McQuiod made his first start of the season in a central midfield role in Arter's absence and he could make way, while Welsh midfielder Shaun MacDonald will be assessed ahead of kick-off having missed out against the Tractor Boys.

Substitute Brett Pitman struck a second-half equaliser to earn the Cherries a point and he is pushing for a start.
