Bennett set for Seagulls bow

Joe Bennett is set to make his Brighton debut when Bolton visit the Amex.

Boss Sami Hyypia's search for a left-back came to an end this week when he snapped up Aston Villa youngster Bennett on a season-long loan.

Winger Paddy McCourt could also make his first appearance having been an unused substitute at Leeds in midweek following his switch from Barnsley while midfielders Joao Teixeira and Danny Holla are in line for home debuts.

Andrew Crofts is also available to bolster the midfield having completed a three-match ban for his red card on the opening day of the season.

Mark Davies will likely be held out of Bolton's team once again.

The central midfielder has a toe injury and is yet to appear this season, but manager Dougie Freedman has pencilled in Tuesday's Capital One Cup contest against Crewe as a comeback date.

Left-back Dean Moxey has not played since the opening day of the season but is believed to be closing in on a return from a foot injury.

Marc Tierney is still out with a broken leg which meant the defender missed most of the previous campaign.
