Trio still out for Seagulls

Brighton remain without Ashley Barnes, Gordon Greer and Andrew Crofts for the visit of Blackburn.

Striker Barnes sits out the second match of his three-game ban following his red card in the 3-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, while defender Greer and midfielder Crofts are still sidelined with hamstring problems.

The Seagulls expect to have the injured duo back soon but they will not be involved as Gus Poyet's side look to record back-to-back victories.

Spanish midfielder Vincente came off the bench to score the only goal in the win over Hull at the weekend, a result which saw Albion end a run of four games without a win in all competitions.

Will Buckley was also a used substitute against Steve Bruce's side on his return from a hamstring injury, while Bruno completed 73 minutes as he played for the first time this year following an Achilles problem.

Blackburn boss Michael Appleton looks set to include striker Jordan Rhodes in his starting XI.

Rovers' top goalscorer broke his nose during Saturday's 1-0 win over Ipswich but is expected to recover in time to start.

New signing Lee Williamson could be added to the squad after making a permanent move to Ewood Park last week.

Appleton has no new injury or suspension concerns but will be without defender Todd Kane who has returned to Chelsea after completing his loan spell.

Former Manchester United forward Josh King remains out, alongside Adam Henley (both hamstring), while long-term injury concerns Leon Best and midfielder Dickson Etuhu are sidelined due to knee injuries.
