Ledesma set for Brighton bow

Brighton can add new signing Emmanuel Ledesma to their squad for the visit of Birmingham.

The Argentinian winger is available to manager Chris Hughton after agreeing a one-month loan deal from Middlesbrough.

But Hughton will be without defender Greg Halford, who has failed to shake off the knee injury he suffered in the closing stages of last weekend's goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Solly March is still missing with a calf problem and Andrew Crofts remains a long-term absentee with cruciate ligament damage.

David Davis is a major doubt for Birmingham after he suffered a knee injury.

The midfielder limped off in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough and boss Gary Rowett will assess him up until kick-off.

Demarai Gray played against Boro despite suffering from tonsillitis and could feature again for Blues.

Michael Morrison (ankle), Gavin Gunning (knee) and Matt Green (knee) remain on the sidelines for Rowett.
