Brighton in hunt for reinforcements

Brighton manager Gus Poyet is this week desperately trying to add to a squad already beset by injury and suspension problems. The Seagulls will be without captain Gordon Greer and midfielder Matt Sparrow for Saturday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday after both were shown red cards in the last seven days. Key midfielder Alan Navarro is also absent after suffering a cruciate injury which will keep him out for most of the season, leaving Poyet with personnel problems just a fortnight into the new season. "This week as a club and staff we need to make sure we get two players," said Poyet. "Maybe I need four or five players now."
