Bridcutt wants new deal

Brighton midfielder Liam Bridcutt wants a decision on his long-term future at the club made sooner rather than later. The 21-year-old, who joined the Seagulls in August on a short-term contract until January following his release by Chelsea, has recently agreed an extension to remain at the Withdean until the end of the season. However, Bridcutt is anxious for his situation beyond the conclusion of the current campaign to be sorted quickly as he does not want to be out-of-contract again like he was in the summer after leaving the Blues.. Bridcutt told The Argus: "I would like to get my future decided very early. Last season I was out of contract at the end of the season. I found it very hard to get into teams and even to get into the side when I came here."
