Bridcutt set for debut
Matt Sparrow and Liam Bridcutt will be in the Brighton side which hosts Leyton Orient in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Sparrow has completed a three-game ban and starts alongside fellow midfielder and former Chelsea trainee Bridcutt, who makes his debut after joining the Seagulls on a five-month deal at the weekend.
Skipper Gordon Greer is serving the final game of his three-match ban while goalkeeper Peter Brezovan and defender Lewis Dunk are still on the sidelines.
Brezovan is recovering from a broken wrist and Dunk has begun light training as he builds up his fitness following a fractured foot.
Midfielder Radostin Kishisev will be rested as he is suffering from a few niggling knocks, while Alan Navarro is a long-term absentee with a ruptured cruciate ligament.
