Bridcutt: Only injuries can stop us

Brighton match-winner Liam Bridcutt praised his side's never-say-die approach after his first ever league goal clinched the Seagulls a 4-3 win and a sixth successive home victory. Former Chelsea midfielder Bridcutt settled the issue in the fourth minute of stoppage time with an unstoppable shot, two minutes after Carlisle substitute Harry Arter appeared to have rescued a point for the visitors with an equaliser on his debut. Tom Taiwo and Ben Marshall were also on target for Carlisle, while Ashley Barnes (2) and Glenn Murray responded for the Seagulls. Bridcutt said: "This was one of the best games I've played in. We still need to win matches and as long as we keep fit we will continue to get the results we need. "I was very happy with my goal as the ball fell so sweetly to me. I hit it sweetly and when it went in there we were trying to run down the clock. "Carlisle had done so well away from home, but we have shown we are a resilient side after going behind."
