Bridcutt eyes Brighton extension

Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt is hoping to extend his contract with the club beyond the end of January.The 21-year-old has made six appearances for the Seagulls since joining the League One side in August. [LNB]He told BBC Sussex: "Hopefully if I get a few more games and I'm impressing, I don't see why they wouldn't sign me until the end of the season. [LNB]"That's what I'm fighting for really - that longer contract." [LNB]He added: "I'm really enjoying it. All the boys have made me welcome.[LNB] [LNB][LNB] "I've been playing games and that helps as well on and off the pitch." [LNB]The former Chelsea trainee believes Albion have the potential to continue their current run of form and push for promotion to the Championship. [LNB]"If there's no injuries we could go all the way this season. We've got a brilliant squad and everyone works hard in training."
