Brighton have handed a trial to former Everton trainee Moses Barnett. The 20-year-old left-back has also had a spell on loan with Darlington but is currently a free agent. Barnett replaced the Seagulls' assistant manager Mauricio Taricco at half-time in the reserves' clash with Brentford on Monday afternoon. Boss Gus Poyet watched on as Norwegian striker Toby Agdestein scored twice in a 2-1 win for Albion. Jake Forster-Caskey also featured for the Seagulls against the club currently being managed by his stepfather and former Brighton captain Nicky Forster.
