Wycombe capture defender Bennett

Alan Bennett has signed a one-year deal with Wycombe Wanderers after having his contract terminated by mutual consent at Brentford.The 28-year-old played six games at Adams Park during a loan spell at the back end of last season. Chairboys boss Gary Waddock told the club's website: "We've been looking at a centre-back after Adam Hinshelwood retired and Bennett fits the bill.
