A first-half Charlie MacDonald hat-trick did the damage as the Bees cruised to a comfortable win to leave Scott a happy man.[LNB]Scott said: "I've been waiting years for this. I played under Mark Wright at Oxford and it was the most miserable time of my career.[LNB]"He threatened and intimidated players and I've taken a lot from that style of management to ensure that I'm not the same - it has made me a better person and a better manager."[LNB]And Scott was also afforded the luxury of substituting MacDonald and his skipper Kevin Connor, making his 300th appearance, ahead of Tuesday night's trip to Accrington.[LNB]He added: "We were very strong in the first half but often when you go three up before the break it's very difficult to keep going throughout the 90 minutes."[LNB][LNB]
