Wood wins top Brentford prize
The 21-year-old, who beat off competition from Alan Bennett and Marcus Bean to pick up the award, joined the Bees from Bromley in May 2008 after starting his career at Kent side Cray Wanderers.
He made 43 appearances for Brentford as they won the League Two title by six points.
